Best smoothie I've ever drank! I love the decor of this place. Great vegan food. My only negative is there's not much places to sit if you are looking for a traditional table as a chair type atmosphere. We ate at the bar which I loved. Maybe not a place I'd bring the grandkids!

I visited the Walrus for the first time to see Ian Chase of Rein Sanction perform. The sound and lighting were both extremely high quality, which is rare for an original music venue. I enjoyed the other interesting acts on the bill too. What I didn’t realize, is the place is a full-on vegan restaurant! They have craft and cheaper can beer, and great food prices. The boiled peanuts are fantastic. The bartender Qwen was as nice as could be and handled a busy bar with aplomb. The Walrus also has a very cool outdoor space which will be great when the weather warms up. This place is a Jacksonville treasure. I will be back many times to see bands and to try other menu items!

My first time here, and the food was excellent. I had the Lonely Hearts Club, Potato Salad, and Sprite. The vegan turkey was delicious...I don't think I have ever had vegan turkey that taste so good. The vegan bacon tasted just like I make it at home. The server (I apologize I can't remember his name, but it starts with a "T") was very nice, and informative...I questioned why a vegan restaurant was named after an animal...got the history, and it all made sense. Also, the server was very patient with me in answering all my questions. I have to remain neutral on the atmosphere, because I did takeout. However, they had a backroom where the nightlife action took place, and it was a nice setup. Overall, I would visit again and recommend this place if you're looking for a nice vegan spot

Absolutely awesome and chill place. I'm not vegetarian, but the food is great and all vegan friendly. The drinks are great, and the atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming

Been looking for vegan options all around and I’m surprised to finally find a place that is completely vegan and GOOD! I drove from St Aug and will probably come again! The staff (it was a lovely girl) that helped us with our order, she even let me try the egg sandwich (tofu) sample before ordering the sandwich and to my surprise I completely loved it! I was able to split my sandwich in half with a different option. They didn’t have carrots at the moment nor beets for the juice I wanted but they had everything else and I’m happy I tried something different, it a nice ginger juice (even tho I don’t even like ginger) The bathroom is trippy, the live music is amazing and the atmosphere is fun! All in all 10/10

Loved my espresso smoothie and the server was the sweetest! The decor is funky and awesome, you can see the thought put in.

Great food, nice friendly accomadating staff, and a lot of cool things, arcade games, dj/live music, and karaoke. Just a heads up, it is mostly adult themed, so although I believe children are welcome during the day to eat, some of the art might not be suitable for all eyes.

Please go here! What an awesome vegan spot and bar!! We had the Cuban shuffle and it was soooooo good!! We also had a delicious juice - sunshine Superman - it was so refreshing. They have baked goods too, vegan of course, we had the cookies and cream cookie. It is so amazing!! Our server/bartender made the experience even more enjoyable with the kindness and welcoming energy! (We went late Sunday afternoon - I didn’t catch the server’s name.) Must go - vegan or not!
